So a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my BFF Hudson!! He turned ONE today, and I wish I could be there for his Monkey birthday party tomorrow. Things I love about my Hudsy, he shows me that kids our age can walk, and even talk! Sometimes he holds my hand. We always have fun together. Especially swimming, that is our favourite thing to do together. He has the best smile and best laugh! You are so much fun Huds!

Things to tell you about me being 10 months old :

- I am a great crawler now
- I love when mommy pretends she is chasing me, I laugh and squeal so hard!
- My favourite snacks are BC Cherries and BC Peaches....yum.
- I pretty much nap and swim and poop all day, it rocks.
- I am about 19 lbs and 28 in long
- I still squeal at ear piercing decibels...it's fun, mommy's trying to teach me to stop, won't it
be hilarious if i get into one of my squeal-a-thons on the 17 hour flight to Australia?
- I LOVE SWIMMING!
- My friend Joella taught me about eating brown rice noodles....my new fav dinner

Canadian Summer 2010

Aubrey has a new baby girl cousin Sydney! This has been something we have been looking forward to for just about 9 months now. Enjoy some more pics and stories here.



Sydney Belle welcome to this crazy family. You will be much loved! Aubrey can't wait to see you. She talks about you everyday and smiles at your pictures.


As for Aubrey, she has instantly turned into a lake girl! She's really coming into her own out here... singing and dancing, screaming, and even a poop on the dock. Memories I'm sure we will embarrass her with when she tries to bring her first boy home. I'm trying hard to delay that first boy but this one guy named Hudson keeps showing up at our doorstep. I told him to get a job first but he only just learned to walk.

First Crawl

This was taken a week and a half ago of Aubrey's first crawl. She hasn't yet discovered that she can use this for long distances but she has been perfecting her crawl.

I heard my Great Grandma is enjoying these videos so I figured I better get a few more up. I tried to narrow down the videos of her eating to one or two but as you can see I posted a bunch. Once you start watching you'll know why I couldn't stop at one.

I'm sure I posted about my friend, Cara-Leigh, back around Mother's Day...we went to Palm Springs together...but here they are again! Our mom's were friends back before we were born, and it is so cool that we have remained such good friends all these years - we even made it through those tough high school drama days!

I had to post a photo of Hudson....WALKING! I am fairly certain he started walking all on his own around 10 months, by 11 months he is walking all over the place!

Movie Time

I am 9 months old!

As you can see I am becoming a very busy little girl! When I was about 8 1/2 months old I learned how to drink out of a straw...I love drinking water and of course my baby smoothies :) I also love smoothie popsicles. Blueberries have become one of my favourite foods among most fruits. I still gag on vegetables. Except sweet potatoes. Those are okay if they are the right consistency. But mom sneaks things like avocados into my smoothie and I like that.

I am also getting pretty mobile! I can get from sitting to all fours and back again, sometimes going on my tummy...mostly I can only go backwards at the moment which gets me into little predicaments...like sliding around under the table between all the chair legs, backwards.

Mostly I am just having a lot of fun, oh and I learned that I can scream - like high pitched squeals - and that is really fun! Especially during graduation ceremonies when every one is quiet. Then they can hear my beautiful voice. I LOVE music and bouncing and singing to it. That graduate who was singing just needed my help a little.

I can say "mamama", and pretty much know who I am talking about now. I finally can say "dada"...but i like to whisper it :) Because Daddy is so sweet. I get SOOOO excited when he comes home from work!

Carson's Graduation!

Carson we are all so proud of you! It is crazy to think that in a couple months you are off to play golf and go to university! We know you'll do amazing no matter what you do in your future, you are just that kind of guy. It has been so fun to be in Red Deer, hanging out with the family and getting to go to your graduation. We are so glad we were here for that!

Next up.....you're 18th birthday! What a fun year for you ;)

Taylor's Graduation & Father's Day

Finally! Some of Taylor's University of Victoria Graduation photos! We had so much fun going to Victoria for 2 days for Tay's grad. We are all so proud of her and excited that she is accepted into Med School beginning January 2011. She has EARNED it with her hard work and perseverance over the years despite many setbacks and trials (one being back surgery).

Then we headed off to Kelowna, BC for an awesome Father's Day weekend...part of which we spent at a Car Show to celebrate the completion of the total restoration (it took like 4 years to rebuild) of my dad's 67 Pontiac 2+2 . More photos to come, this summer when we go back out there I can promise there will be a special photo shoot of our beloved Pontiac. If my mom can scan it and send it to me, I will show you all a photo of us as little kids in it...
